Ultra Band-Lok Blue 5gm Syringe
Ultra Band-Lok Blue 5gm Syringe is a light-cured orthodontic cement designed to secure orthodontic bands and brackets to teeth efficiently and reliably. From the beginning of planning your clinic supplies, convenient installment payments are available through Tabby and Tamara in four installments, giving you greater flexibility in managing purchase costs. Wholesale and bulk-order options can also be requested, helping you provide essential orthodontic materials according to your clinic’s needs and case schedule while organizing inventory and costs more effectively.
Its formulation combines resin and fillers to deliver practical bonding strength between the tooth and the band or bracket, while its blue color makes the material easier to see during application and clean-up. This feature gives the clinician clearer visual control when managing excess material and helps complete bonding steps in an orderly manner. It is intended for professional orthodontic use; therefore, correct clinical technique, surface preparation, and adherence to the instructions for accompanying materials remain essential to achieving the intended treatment outcome.
Ultra Band-Lok Blue is not limited to band cementation alone. It can also be used to bond brackets, lingual retainers, and large acrylic appliances when the appropriate preparation steps are followed for each case. Through a controlled light-curing process, the bonded appliance is ready for use immediately after the procedure is complete. The product combines easy application, visible color control, and the ability to support multiple orthodontic uses, making it a practical component of a clinic protocol focused on precision and finishing quality.
Reliance Ortho and the Exclusive Agent
The product carries the Reliance Ortho brand and is available through an exclusive agent, providing clarity about the supply source when selecting orthodontic cement for clinic supplies. If the facility requires an official document to support purchasing or internal approval, it can be requested before confirming the order. This gives dental clinics and medical centers greater confidence when arranging material supply, whether for a single product order or for recurring wholesale and bulk purchases.
What Does the Order Include?
The order includes Ultra Band-Lok Blue 5gm Syringe: a 5 g syringe of blue light-cured orthodontic cement. No additional accessories are listed with the product; therefore, it is advisable to confirm the number of syringes and the final shipment contents when ordering multiple quantities, particularly if the clinic is preparing for several cases or branches. This confirmation helps align the quantity with the expected rate of use and ensures the material is available before scheduled bonding appointments.
Compatibility with Devices and Surfaces
The product does not require software or electronic compatibility. For proper curing, use a curing light capable of delivering an irradiance of at least 600 mW, and check the light’s efficiency periodically with a radiometer according to clinic protocol. It can be used with bands, brackets, lingual retainers, and acrylic appliances. When bonding brackets or other appliances, the enamel should be cleaned and acid-etched, followed by application of the appropriate conditioning material in accordance with approved instructions.
It can also be bonded to ceramic surfaces after preparation with Reliance Porc-Etch™ and a suitable Reliance porcelain conditioner. It bonds to metal surfaces—including amalgam, gold, and stainless steel—after roughening and preparation with an appropriate conditioning material, such as Reliance Metal Primer, Enhance™ Adhesion Booster, Assure®, or Assure® Plus Universal Bonding Resin. It is recommended to verify the compatibility of each auxiliary material with the clinic’s established workflow before beginning the procedure.
Bonding and Light-Curing Steps
Hold the orthodontic band securely, then place a small amount of Ultra Band-Lok inside it using the appropriate instrument, distributing the paste over the internal wall without overfilling. Position the band over the tooth and carefully remove any excess material. To make excess cement easier to remove, the occlusal surface may be exposed to light for one second until the excess becomes rubbery and can be removed more easily. Then direct the curing light at the band-tooth interface for 30 seconds, moving the light slowly in a circular motion to ensure even curing.
Acid etching of enamel is not required for band cementation under normal conditions. However, this step may be used to enhance bond strength in high-pressure appliances, such as palatal expanders or bite-correction appliances, according to the clinician’s judgment and clinical protocol. Do not use the product if the package is damaged or expired, and store it in a cool, dry place away from heat and high humidity. It must be used only for its intended orthodontic purpose and by qualified practitioners.
A Consumable Product Without Maintenance or Spare Parts
Ultra Band-Lok Blue 5gm Syringe is classified as a consumable product. Therefore, it does not require a technical warranty, maintenance services in Saudi Arabia, installation, technical training, or spare parts. Maintenance team coverage by city also does not apply to this product. Proper care consists of storing it under suitable conditions, reviewing the expiry date and package condition before use, and following the clinic’s approved hygiene and infection-control procedures. These practices support product readiness and quality of use in daily cases.
Registration, Tax, and Official Quotation
The product is registered with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), and supporting documents can be requested when needed for internal approval or administrative review. The tax status is listed as “none”; however, it is advisable to confirm the Value Added Tax status and whether the final price includes VAT or is exempt from it before issuing the invoice and making payment. An official quotation can also be requested, making it suitable for individual orders as well as wholesale and bulk purchases that require clear budget planning.
Delivery, Installments, and Ordering
The expected delivery time is three to five business days and may vary depending on the city, stock availability, and shipping procedures. It is therefore recommended to confirm the actual delivery date before approving a bulk order. A real product demonstration video is not currently available, and requesting a demo does not apply because it is a consumable material intended for professional use. In addition to Tabby and Tamara installment payments over four installments, you may inquire about installment options for wholesale and bulk orders.
